This is a how to on about Unite Windows and Linux With a Single Mouse Click!

So, if you're wondering what do you need to get started, let me tell you
that you must have a usable and stable Ubuntu (other Linux distributions will work) computer with at least 1 GB RAM and a modern processor (Intel Core 2 Duo or equivalent). These are also the components on which I've tested the following guide! Ready? Excited? Let's go!

The only reason I don't like VirtualBox is (as far as I could tell) there was no way to get a network IP for the VM. It was always a NAT IP with the local machine.

Has this been fixed yet?

This is a nice thing to have. I've been doing that for a while now. I don't like the seamless mode though. I open VBox with Windows on one screen and use the full screen option. That way I can just flip back and forth as needed.

well, the 3D support is not good enough yet, most of the time I use windows is for the 3D stuff. 3D modleing, CADing, and Gaming. if I can't get them work, there is not point to even use windows, I can do almost anything in Linux.
