View Full Version : Google uses OpenOffice beta for google pages!

As one can see on the attached screenshot, Google seems to use the beta version of OpenOffice 3 to render Google Pages!
I inserted a non-standard character into the title of my page and it looks like that made their OpenOffice server-side page generator go nuts and yield info it wasn't supposed to.
I wonder whether the 3rd version is so good for them to make them prefer the unstable (beta) version for the stable one.

In my experience OOo 3 beta is already better and faster than the previous version.

OOo 3.0 isn't unstable, it's just a beta. ;) Far more stable and smooth for me - and quicker.

I have a 32 bit Open Office 3 BEta for Ubuntu. Is there any way I can install it in my 64 bit Ubuntu.
