no picture from apple trailer but can hear sound on ubuntu 8.04

Hi
I have ubuntu 8.04 installed and I followed the Comprehensive Multimedia and Video How-to from this forum. When ever I tryed to watch any trailer from apple I got two problems. One is I can only hear sound but no picture. Another one is some trailer is telling me to install latest quicktime player. Any solution will greatly appreciate.

Thanks for your reply. Does it mean I can not watch trailer from apple website using Ubuntu 8.04?

some of the older ones work still, but all the newer ones check for real quicktime. i use->
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/446

and play them in vlc outside the browser, but most won't even have the thing to click any more to send it to vlc.

Thanks for the idea. But what I did remove mplayer, pluginreg.dat from firefox directory. Only left gxine player. Restart the firefox and its working fine with gxine. I will stick with it and see how long it can work. And again thanks for your help
