Hi there,
I've been trying to use xbindkeys, and have installed it following the tutorial here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=79560) and the config, via sudo apt-get, checked that they are there on synaptic, but every time I try and run it via the terminal I get this message:
graeme@graeme-laptop:~$ xbindkeys
Error : /home/graeme/.xbindkeysrc not found or reading not allowed.
please, create one with 'xbindkeys --defaults > /home/graeme/.xbindkeysrc'.
or, if you want scheme configuration style,
with 'xbindkeys --defaults-guile > /home/graeme/.xbindkeysrc.scm'.
graeme@graeme-laptop:~$
could anyone explain how I can get around this? I've tried a reinstall via synaptic, but get the same response.
thanks in advance
