i can't reinstall ubuntu

i had both linux(ubuntu) and windows xp both installed on my laptop until i deleted the linux partition from the the disk management in windows. i formatted the whole system, because the xp would not start.
i have tried to install the unbuntu again but i keep getting error messages.

please help me...

the problem is the partitioner is unable to load, just before it gets there i get error messager (hdc, I/O and some numbers)

Get Gparted Live CD and prepare your partitions; then install:

Burn to disk and then boot from it.
