Just got back from an IT seminar/conference where a number of suppliers were showing off their goods. Usually at these events, there's a goody bag of some sorts. Todays was quite good.

Contents:
1 x Obligatory mouse mat
2 x Parker pens (nice)
2 x lanyards (I don't use these and have no idea why that ALWAYS give them out)
2 x Wine - (1 bottle of decent red and 1 bottle of decent white)
2 x cheap greens pens (Will be left on my desk for others to steal as required)
2 x cheap red pens (see above)
1 x stress ball (Always a fave for about 6 months till they start to rot)
2 x post it notes
2 x small note pads
1 x A4 branded note pad.
1 x very good looking Blonde sales ladies number (Strictly business :|)

And that's it.

I did learn about some potential products and got a discount from the Sophos sales guy, possibly.

Lunch was thrown in so all in all not bad for a few hours of slacking off, ERRR, I mean analysis of potential accounting packages which would compliment our future internal development. :D

So what's the best goody bad you ever had?
What's the worst?

Usually I don't go to shows as a consumer. I go as a participant. I did one show at a Japanese Lifestyle Show in Tokyo once. HP had a booth across from us and every hour on the hour the dancing girls would come out and do their thing. While none of these girls would fit in a goodie bag, I did manage to leave with two of them one night. Does that count?
