How to SAFELY install Windows as 2nd OS ?

Hi all,

On my Dell Dimension 9150, I have a working Ubuntu 8.04 on one of my several partitions and a broken Windows XP Home on another partition.

What are the steps to (re)-install Windows in its partition without
braking my Ubuntu especially the GRUB table ?
