Ubuntu qualifications

Hi,

I've seen some (dated) talk of Ubuntu Certified Professional courses. Are these available in the UK?

Or are there any other courses available, like RHCE?

And finally, are they worth it?

I have seen the Ubuntu Qualifications too they are available in the UK. Think they are about £237 for all 3 exams. You need to do the LPI exams so there are 3 exams you need to do the LPI ones then the Ubuntu one. As for are they worth it??

This would depend on your view point. the way i look at it any knowledge is good knowledge. Ubuntu in a commercial enviroment is not widely used in the UK to the best of my knowledge (Shoot me if am wrong) So would the quals be any ood for a job?? The answer is more than likely as you can transfer most of the skills to Unix or Linux Distro's.
