Right-click completely stopped working

I recently updated and there were errors in my update, most of which have been resolved.

But I seem to have lost all right-click functionality. No right click context menus show up in any application. Left click and scroll is ok.

Any ideas?

I should have replied when I resolved this - maybe I was too embarrassed. The problem was that my mouse was busted.
