Ive been using the How to dual-boot Windows XP and Linux, on a system where you have already installed XP. Guides
my problem is the screenshot that shows How to Prepare the disk space is not the one showing on my PC
Step by step guide has :
Guided- Resize SCS12 (0, 0, 0 ,) partition # 1 (sda) and use freed space
New partition size
Microsoft Windows XP Professional 50% UBUNTU 8.4 50%
You can drag the dividing line left or right to increase or decrease the amount of space to be freed up.
Guided -use entire disk
SCS12 (0, 0, 0,) (sda) – 21.5 GB ATA VM Ware Virtual 1
Guided -use the longest continuous free space
Maual
On my Computer which runs Windows XP PRO
My Only options on my screen are :
Guided -use entire disk
SCS13 (0, 0, 0,) (sda) – 250.1GB ATA ST3250620AS
SCS14 (0, 0, 0,) (sdb) – 164.7 GB ATA WDC WD 1600YS-01S
