I am newbie on Linux.
I have set up Ubuntu 8.04 on Lenovo T61 7658.
It looks like Ubuntu works quite well on T61,
I did not have any trouble to install drivers sperately.
But, now I have two problems,
Probably, both problems are from video card
Intel GMA X3100 GM965.
But I don't know how to get them fixed. Anybody help me out?
1. when I connect T61 to external projector, LCD monitor stays with
resolution 1280*800 60 Hz, while the projector shows
800*600 portion of LCD screen.
2. I also have problem with OpenArena. When I open the game,
I can play fine with full screen mode at the first 15 min or so.
But after that, it automatically exit from full screen mode to
Windows mode, and keyboard and mouse does not work properly. Then,
I have to reboot.
Probably, It is not clear enough. Please let me know if you need
any additional info needed to make it clear.
