View Full Version : [ubuntu] Hardy upgrade very slow shutdown

myotis
June 18th, 2008, 07:48 PM
Since upgrading to Hardy from Gutsy, it takes almost 2 minutes to shut down, no error messages, just sits at the splashscreen.

On my last boot up, for some reason, it didn't hook up to the network and the shutdown was completed in seconds so I wonder if the slow shutdown is related to the network connection. Its dual booting with XP if that relevant.

I have posted a rather long section of log below, should that give anyone some ideas, and I am very much a beginner with linux so be gentle.

Thanks,

Graham
