You mean out of the box, because I don't think Fedora has that either...
It's just one of them many compiz plugins that you can download and install!

the only time i ever have compiz on ((Well plugins on at least i use compiz compositing)) is when im trying to get people to switch to linux, other than that its kinda annoying although i might install this plugin for the next time someone wants a demo, looks nice

that seems harder to navigate to me, and looks like it would be alot more confusing and eye straining then the cube.

For a start cube deformation plugin is still in devlopment and is only available in compiz git.

The cube is more "clean" and useable aswell.

i don't even use the cube... it's cool to play around with but in the end i find it to be a bit gimmicky

I prefer the sphere over the cube myself, you also can get a cylinder too! I made my desktop look like a cheese wheel when rotating =D.
Just go to compiz fusion's site and compile through source. I thought it was pretty easy and looks great too!

I thought those images were made with the gimp. I wouldn't use this plugin; no offense but I honestly find it awful (although I do use compiz, and I specially like the gelly windows; I guess they relax me)... Anyway every body has their preferences, I guess, so if someone likes it, good for him/her =)

Cylinder / Sphere are available in 0.7.6 - there's a PPA.
https://launchpad.net/~compiz/+archive
Should be a smooth update. Also, Compiz 0.7.6 will be in Hardy.1, unless we release 0.8 before then.
