Hey I'm new to ubuntu and I wanted to try it out.
But the livecd isnt good enough for me cause it doesnt let me apply compiz and other cool stuff because my graphics need to be installed... I think.. (its ati radeon) It probably requires a reboot and that defeats the purpose of the livecd
so..
I want to install ubuntu on my 500GB external hard drive
right now all thats on there is some movies...
But im no good with partitioning. I want to still be able to use and see whats on it through windows. cause thats what most people have and I will probably still use windows also.
so how do I go about this?
