I have an account on abebooks.com where I usually buy my books from. I was recently offered a coupon by them with a 10% discount which expires today (it was offered a while ago but I just found it today). So I decided to get a new book. I would like to get a book about programming so I added the C programming Guide to my cart. I am still looking for another book, what have you read recently that you would recommend?
EDIT: doesnt matter what genre, just anything that you enjoyed.

I see they have Ubuntu Unleashed (http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?sts=t&tn=ubuntu+unleashed&x=0&y=0). I strongly recommend one of those, it includes so many tips and tricks, and most of the explanations are CLI based instead of GUI, so you'll really learn something. That is, if you don't already own it, of course. It contains not only Ubuntu-related stuff, but Linux-related in general.

Edit: I'm not sure about the edition, I have Ubuntu Unleashed, August 2006. But there surely is a newer edition if you like.

I'm on my second time through O'Reilly's 'Learning Python.'

Well worth your time if you are into programming.

If you want another book, the best book for C ever written was the original by K&R. If you don't have this book and are interested in C programming, this is a MUST HAVE for your library.

If you're into fantasy, Tad Williams is the man. Try Shadowmarch, or the Otherland series, both absolute classics. Be warned tho, Otherland is four books weighing in at 4500 pages or thereabouts!
