I had lyx 1.4.3 in my Ubuntu 6.06 but couldn't get all the classes I wanted, I decided (stupid of me) to remove all the lyx* files in my computer and then reinstall, to check if I could solve it this way. Now I can't find any *lyx* file in my / but when I try to reinstall using the comand apt-get lyx I recieve the response that I already have it installed.
How can I fix this mess up?
(I have also tried to use packages .deb, but I find the following messages:
dpkg: list file «lyx-common» is missing, system will assume that no package is installed.
dpkg: list file of package «lyx» is missing, system will assume that no package is installed
dpkg: list file of package «lyx-xforms» is missing, system will assume that no package is installed
dpkg: list file of package «lyx-qt» is missing, system will assume that no package is installed
I am quite new in this, Thanks for your help!
