[SOLVED] Drive space monitoring

Does any body know of any type of desktop type gadget that will monitor the space on my drive/s and output it onto my desktop? And also will run at startup?

you can also install screenlets :

sudo apt-get install screenlets
Then go to System > Preferences > Screenlets (alternatively, you can type screenlets-manager in the terminal).
Say "yes" to create the startup folder. use the diskusage screenlet
