where are the messages from "Lock Screen" in ubuntu stored

after you lock the screen you have the option of writing a message which will appear when the user unlocks the screen.

where are those messages stored?

I'm running Ubuntu 7.10. There is no such entry under System > Administration. The closest thing is System Log.
