When I boot from Ubuntu 8.04 install CD, then choose Demo or Install, the progress bar goes to 2 & 4/5 boxes, then stays there. (I've waited 25 minutes; nothing.)
Not the error: the MD5 sums on the download agreed, and the Check CD came up clean.
Specs: Celeron 2.2MHz, 1 GB ram, 80 GB hard, two XP Home primary partitions (one will become Vista Home Basic), a third unformatted primary of 18 GB, meant for Ubuntu.
