hey there,
i use kile, amarok and some other qt applications in ubuntu 8.04 (gnome). they didn't fit in much in terms of looks, so I installed the qtcurve theme among others and changed the kde theme and icons in kcontrol.
however, after i did that, in all the qt apps the application specific icons were gone  - the "global" icons like save, copy, print and so on are still shown, while icons that were a part of specific applications, like for example "add playlist" in amarok and such things, aren't shown anymore, instead the icon for empty file is shown.

I added an attachment to illustrate what i mean. I am not too familiar with linux yet, so i don't have any explanation for all that and i don't know what could have caused it or how to fix it either.

thanks in advance for your help

That's happened to me before; I think it's just an inconsistency between KDE and Gnome :?
