Just curious, having spent the best part of 10 hours, trying to get a blackberry 7230 to work, tried 4 networks - T-mobile, o2, Orange and Vodafone, using opera mini, google mail app, the blackberries own browser, meddling with APN settings, trying to disable its firewall.

I still have "ata connection refused" across the top of the screen, and gprs in lowercase in the corner.

DO I just have an oversized, overpriced phone/texting thing with no internet capabilities without me spending £25 a month on a contract!!??

I'm not in a good mood... :(

In the US, T-Mobile has a Sidekick prepaid plan which gives you unlimited internet access for a daily fee. I don't know if this plan works with other phones, though, or if even it works in GB.

I can get GPRS connections fine, on other phones.

It might be a firewall blocking the connection, unless it's a BB connection :S

Anyone?????
