Here is a cool project,

I am involved in a project called IRLP (http://www.irlp.net/), internet radio linking project. It is a Linux based program that links radios to the internet around the world. Recently some one has created a way for it to run on Ubuntu, here (http://rob.pectol.com/irlp/content/view/15/32/) . It has never run better since I have switched my local node computer over to Ubuntu. Once again Ubuntu saves the day.
