Hello All
I have Ubuntu up and running and I love it so far. There are only two problems the
1. Ubuntu-It addon for Firefox has decided that I am Italian for some reason and that makes it hard for me to read the forum that it sends me to.
2. F-Spot photo manager kills Ubuntu dead when trying to move photos to the desktop
as soon as I hit import the entire box locks up requiring a restart.
I have had absolutely no problems with Ubuntu and the (Hardy) install was, I think the most painless I have ever had! This is my first post, I did look the forum list but nothing seemed to be a perfect fit for this post.
Ubuntu 8.4
AMD64 1.8 Ghz
2 Gb

TIA For any pointers
I will continue to look for answers at F-Spot and Firefox:confused:

Could it be you're trying to move too many photos at once, and that's what's locking it up?

Thanks I'll break it in half and try again.

I tried again but I don't see any way to select photos F-Spot grabs everything on the secure digital card even when I select only some of the photos?
I'll keep trying.
