Hey everybody,

When I got back into Ubuntu, I initially installed GNOME on my laptop, but after giving XFCE a try, I decided to stick with it. I've been pretty successful at transferring most of my customizations and whatnot, except for one thing - I switch keyboard layouts very often (usually between English and Arabic, with the occasional other ones thrown in there) and on GNOME, I set the 'windows' key to do it (I even ripped out the original windows key and put the menu one in its place. It makes a good icon for a layout switch key). Now, however, I can't figure out how to set the key to this behavior. Any clues?

Thanks a bundle,
Ben

Hi iwsfutcmd

Applications > Settings Settings Manager > Keyboard > Shortcuts

If all you have is the Default Settings hit the Add button and give it a name now you can change things.

Obviously [+] & [-] to Add or Remove a setting. and if you double click on an existing setting you can edit it.

Need more help, just ask.
Have a nice day.
