hi, all.

just wondering if anyone knows how to get the symbol for infinity in xmgrace.

also, does anyone have any alternative favourite publication-quality plotting utility? im currently messing with labplot too.

cheers.

Not sure if you still need it:

\x\c%

I think \x\c(plus corresponding keyboard character) will give you any symbol on the bottom half of the 'symbol' font package.

I used GRACE for a while, but have since migrated more to using R, both for stats and for plotting. Occasionally R won't do something for me, and the I use QTI plot. QTI plot generally seems to do everything GRACE did for me, but is friendlier to use.

I use Xmgrace for all my publication quality figures. I agree with what Sebpinski suggests.

Have you tried Gnuplot? Not as forgiving as Xmgrace though.
