In the past, I have tried going out and trying to find a kernal patch to make HDAPS on my IBM/Levono laptop to work and to no avail. Is there any way to make it so that a driver comes with Ubuntu and works with these laptops? DO NOT give me a link to thinkwiki. It doesn't work. Is there any possibility that you guys can make this come true?

O RLY?I DO have and IBM Thinkpad T43. How do I know? Becuase it says so on it! Now then, back to the topic at hand. Is there a possibility of making Linux or even Ubuntu compatible with HDAPS? I mean, it coming with the daemon that pauses the HDD when a certain amout of motion sensed along with HDAPS-utils? If HDAPS utils does work, where can I view to see that the HDD is actually being stopped?
