Hi,
I got Ubuntu 8.04 - DVD version from one of the Magazine(Linux For You). The following issues I am facing.

1. DVD wont boots to make dual boot system. But, Ubuntu CD version boots. But, I dont want CD version to install.
2. With wubi, Starts getting checksum and after completion, wubi not responds (Both in Xp and Vista). Is it, wubi accepts only CD version?
3. Menu opens after DVD inserted in drive (without wubi). I selected "demo and Install" button. Suddently it asks to reboot. If I click ok. Then Nothing happens. No reboot, No checksum checking, etc.,

Is it problem with DVD? or something I am missing. There is no wubi file in DVD, contains q..menu.exe (forgot exact name). But, available in CD.

Please provide some solution.

I think the CD and DVD both install the same Ubuntu desktop. It sounds to me like your DVD drive is having problems with the DVD. Why not just install using a CD instead of a DVD?

For Wubi, the Live CD must be used.
