Hello,
Recently I started getting messages while shutting down. They are too fast to read. I was ignoring them for a while, but it looks like they are getting longer. Is there anyway to find out what they say?
I have gazv5 running 8.04

If you mean various comments about network manager etc etc, this happened on mine and I think on most installs until quite recently. I seem to recall a comment about changing the login screen twice might make the usplash return, but that had not seemed to happen to mine until a day or two ago, when suddenly, maybe as a result of updates or something, the usplash is back again as it used to be.
This is a known bug but not one that really affects anything important, so don't worry about it.

Yes, it is something about network manager. Thanks, I was starting worring about it, especially since it looks like messages were getting longer.
Thanks.
