Hello!
I just wanted to ask if is any easy way to set up ubuntu and windows together without any cruses of the system(blue screens).I am waiting for your reply.

The best way is this:

1) Install first windows on a partition of its own.
2) Then install ubuntu on a partition of its own.

The most important thing to know is that if you have a single hard disk with a single partition which has windows on it and install ubuntu on it then it will of course delete windows (unless you use wubi - see the wubi subforums here).

Ubuntu is a independent OS from windows so it won't cause any blue screens etc. for windows.

I suggest you download and watch the videos (links below) to get a better feeling for ubuntu. They are for the previous version of ubuntu but still relevant. Especially watch these:

Installing Ubuntu Part 1
Installing Ubuntu Part 2

and maybe also

Tour of the Ubuntu Desktop
Tour of the Ubuntu Applications
Tour of the Places and System Menus
Updating and Upgrading
Installing Applications

These videos are available in different sizes. Goto

and the links are on the top right. If you have a fast connection then download the Ogg/Vorbis/Theora - Large videos.
