Library of Congress opens DMCA exemption comment period

I think most everyone here has dealt with not being able to play certain dvds, some formats, etc.
In many of these cases it deals with the DMCA. No copyright infringement is taking place in the gpl'ed code (as far as I know), in some cases the stuff is patented (certain formats).
Anyway, nov 2 - dec 1, we have a chance to comment on the DMCA and how it is effecting the average Ubuntu user in the U.S.A.
May not solve the problem completely, but it is a start (and should have a good effect on some countries that import our crappy DMCA, like Australia :) )
