Ok so Ubuntu was not working for me before heres the link to my old thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=826852
So now i get a different type of error!
So i reinstalled Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron using Wubi inside of windows.
So now when i get to the screen which ask me from which OS i want to choose i chose Ubuntu.
After that Ubuntu starts loading now for ONLY about 2 seconds and it takes me to this screen:

Says as follows:

BusyBox v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3-5ubuntu12) Built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

(initramfs) _ (blinking cursor)

My System Specs:
HP Pavilion a820n ( detailed specs at this location: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/p...&lang=en&cc=us)
Intel Pentium 4 3.20 ghz HT
1 GB DDR PC3200
Microsoft Windows XP Home Service Pack 2
ATI Radeon X1550 PCI (not PCI-Express)

I installed Ubuntu on my sons computer this past week, it has been running fine untill today, now when I boot I get:

GRUB Loading stage1.5.

GRUB loading, please wait...
Error 16

If I try to load from the LiveCD It just goes to BusyBox

This is the 3rd Western Digital HD I have tried Ubuntu on. It runs for a while, then crashes, and I can't get it to respond. When Dell sent me the HDs they are running Vista just fine, but won't run Ubuntu for munch longer than a couple of weeks. Is Ubuntu not compatible with Western Digital HDs? I have Ubuntu running on my other sons PC and my wife's laptop without any problems.
