A Perfect Circle is excellent besides the disappointment Emotive.

30 Seconds to Mars debut album is genius as well. Any of Porcupine Tree's work (Deadwing, In Absentia, Lightbulb Sun) is a must-have for ANY rock fan too.

Marillion, The Decemberists, The Mars Volta (obsessed with their De-loused in the Comatorium right now), and Pink Floyd are always great to listen too as well.

The Decemberists' "Picaresque" is my top album of the year so far. I'm giving an ear to the new Franz Ferdinand album at the moment.

I've been wanting to listen to more NIN lately.

But I'm usually not into the heavy stuff as much. I used to be a metalhead. Cowboy Mouth is the best rock band ever. Not hard rock, but it's still rock.

Anything by the White Stripes does it for me as well. hated them the first few listens five years ago, then the whole "art project" concept clicked in my head. Jack White's "Ball and Biscuit" is a brilliant dirty romp.

I agree whole-heartedly with the Rush choice. Though I enjoy many of their albums, Moving Pictures is their masterpiece. To your list of classic rock, I would add some King Crimson and Yes.
