I am trying to load 8.04 on to a pc with a p3 512 and a 200gig hd. Installation seems to go fine but when it tries to restart all I get is "GRUB loading, please wait..."
"Error 21"
Can anyone help

Also, I currently have 4 Ubuntu machines and love them but when I have a problem I have no interest in fixing it my self. Is there any one in Portland Or. whom I can just take the machine to and pay them to fix it?
Thanks,

Sef

This is GRUB error 21:

21 : Selected disk does not exist
This error is returned if the device part of a device- or full file name refers to a disk or BIOS device that is not present or not recognized by the BIOS in the system.

Thank you for replying so quickly. Your info is helpful but I'm not sure what to do with it. If I am understanding you correctly, GRUB can not find my sata drive. It does show up in the bios and was working with the OTHER os when I got it. So at the risk of sounding stupid, what do I do now?
