Ransomeware, a virus that encrypt your file with 1024 bit RSA. Then, ask you money for the key!

Even if I disapprove the use of any kind of malware, this thing is brilliant.

Set up a grid of PS3s to crack the key, then you're sorted.

holy crap, i would of never thought of that, thats way better than any social engineering ive ever heard of

i hate that people would do this to each other, but bravo to the creator for thinking outside the box

I have to say that it's innovative, but nothing frequent backups won't solve.

This started 2 years ago, but they only used ~650 bit keys whose generator was found to be flawed (a bit like Debian's SSH ones!).
