Ever since I upgraded to 8.04 I have had trouble with different applications, especially Firefox that closes automatically.
Example:
I start Firefox (happens both with the beta and the latest release) when I type something in the adress line or clicks somewhere it just shuts down. I may have to try this up to ten times before it finally works. Sometimes it happens after a while. I'm not sure why, I don't think it happens on any special web sites.
This happened to the update manager window also today. So I guess it is a general thing, although the terminal window etc. never closes like this..
I thought it happened more often when I used the touch pad, but it also has started to happen when I use an external mouse. It's very annoying :D
Has anybody any ideas?
Btw. I use Gnome. And an acer travelmate 6460 with an ATI card.
