So I downloaded Ubuntu and I am trying to install it on VMware. This may a question for a vmware forum but whatever.

The problem is that I cannot put this on a cd and did not find an ISO image. Any ideas can you use daemon tools or some other free software to compile it to an iso?

Download from here:

You can also mount the iso. I imagine in Windows might be Alcohol 120%

Donīt you have a option in vmware to install it from iso?

I must have downloaded the wrong one the first time it was a compressed file (don't remember the extension) not an iso. You can mount iso in vm so this should work.

Thanks for the help.
