I was wondering if there was any FREE linux magazines (the kind you receive via snailmail) that I could have sent to me. I have never read anything other than the Full Circle Magazine, and I was wondering if there was something else out there.

No, I don't want something you have to subscribe to, because I don't want to shell out money for a magazine...

I'm not sure if you're looking for something like this. Anyway, I read this sometimes, and I quite enjoy it:

Well, not exactly, but I see that they have a Free PDF of it, so I guess that is better than having to wait for something to come in the mail.

It costs money to make a magazine. Besides, the stuff online, like mailing lists, tends to have better content.

Well...there's always Linsux Format (http://www.linsux.org/uploads/linsuxformat-issue1.pdf), the #1 parody linux magazine.

Issue 2 is in the works finally.

Ugh. I don't get why they need to attack us - we aren't all like that.

It's satire from a year ago, when the UF was way, way more rabid.

Any content that bashes Linux should be kindly discarded from here. This is a community FOR Linux, NOT against it.

Any user that trolls about proprietary software should be instantly and permanently BANNED at the ISP level. Since the Ubuntu Code of Conduct is licensed under Creative Commons, why don't I make such a contribution?

Didn't realize we had a software Apartheid going on.

(Baahahahaha, African history jokes ftw.)

I would like to say that this is a community ABOUT Linux, it doesn't just have to be one way or the other.

But maybe you're right, perhaps people with different opinions ought to be bound and tortured and waterboarded. That's freedom, right? :D

On a more serious note, I find that this forum is a decent magazine. Take every other thread, print it out, then staple the pages together. You essentially have something as comprehensive as Teen People.

If you had bothered to read it, I think you'd find it talks about OpenSUSE and how awesome the release at the time was, it's not outright Linux bashing.

If you're not all like that, then why are you including yourself in the first-person plural pronoun "us"? If you aren't what they are attacking then they aren't attacking you.
