Thinking of 7zip like the windows 7zip, I messed up the installation.
I assigned properties in the application launcher menu.
Now it shows:
Launcher Properties
Type Application
Name 7zip
Command /usr/lib/p7zip/7z
If I simply delete the entries it errors out.
Is there a way of deleting, fixing the launcher properties.?
Is this important?
I did a few searches but I did not find anybody who managed to mess up their 7zip install this way :)
Edit: 7zip in linux does not have a gui........so you simply select it to install, but you cannot open it, it is just used.....
edited to clear up issue, coming from windows i was expecting a gui....
