Buffalo linkstation live working on Ubuntu ?

I am planning to buy a Buffalo linkstation live http://www.buffalotech.com/products/network-storage/linkstation/linkstation-live/ for my media storage. Could anybody confirm that the installation and the drive is fully functional with Ubuntu (8.04) ?

Works fine for me. I have two machines running Hardy and no issues connecting to the shares on my LinkStation Live. Ubuntu sees them as Windows shares and uses Samba to connect to them. Also, Rythmbox sees the streaming media server (if you enable it) with no problem.
