Whenever I try and install ndsgtk (I'm trying to get my NETGEAR WG111v2 working), this happens:

Where is the linux source build directory that matches your running kernel?
[/lib/modules/2.6.24-17-generic/build]

What does that mean, and what should I tell it?

Which version of ubuntu are you running? With ndiswrapper installed you should be able to use the default GUI for networking. As far as I am aware, ndisgtk is somewhat defunct now, except for older systems. This guide is quite good for getting ndiswrapepr to work: http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Feisty#How_to_install_Windows_Wireless_Driv ers_.28Ndiswrapper.29

Hope this helps!
