greetings, i just recently installed kubuntu in my laptop(Dell Inspiron 5100). then i upgraded it to 8.04 since it was a 7.10 version.
anyways, i wanted to enable nice effects, so i searched for stuff on how to enable them on kubuntu..
then i saw it on this site...
http://pcquest.ciol.com/content/handson/2007/107040305.asp
when i tried following it, it gave me these:
$ yum install beryl-kde
There was a problem importing one of the Python modules
required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was:
No module named cElementTree
Please install a package which provides this module, or
verify that the module is installed correctly.
It's possible that the above module doesn't match the
current version of Python, which is:
2.5.2 (r252:60911, Apr 21 2008, 11:12:42)
[GCC 4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu7)]
If you cannot solve this problem yourself, please send this
message to <yum@lists.linux.duke.edu>.
what will i do next? im still a beginner at linux, and i wanted to have those cool cube thingies that my friends have on their linux os..
thanks in advance.. ^_^
