With the update manager and synaptic, I get following message:
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
So I open a terminal and type: sudo dpkg --configure -a
It starts till:
Updating fontconfig cache...
Then my system blocks and the only I can do is shutting down
