Hi, I went to a site that had a java appellate.
When I clicked to install the missing plug in I accidently clicked the wrong plug in and it installed some version of java and the java appelate still doesn't work.

I installed the latest version of java, but I guess the other install is taking priority. I don't know what it was named, so I don't know how to remove it.

Open up your firefox and on the address bar, type this address-> about:plugins (that would be a colon (about.colon.plugins), not smiley) and press enter. Locate the crappy java applet and try visiting this site (http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/faqs/uninstall.html) on how to manually remove it.

Ok thanks for the reply, I got rid of it. I couldn't find out how to remove it, the link didn't really say much, but from the list I found the file name by searching for java and I opened the add/remove programs under Applications and did a search for it and I removed it.
(The explanation is for anyone else that has the same problem)
