So I am currently using vista but I have partitioned my hdd into 3 partitions: 1 for vista (ntfs), 1 for ubuntu (ext3) and 1 fat32 for storage. I was gonna install ubuntu 8 today but in the middle of installation process I can't find the menu asking in which partition I'd like to install ubuntu.
I encountered some menu asking 3 options about partitioning like: guided partition, guided partition on the entire disk or manual. I am not sure which one to click because I don't want ubuntu to mess up with my first partition (ntfs) and resize my vista partition to create its own ubuntu (ext3) partition on my drive C:
I want to install ubuntu on the ext3 partition that I have prepared beforehand.
So my question is:
which one of these 3 options should I pick?
If I let ubuntu configure installation using guided partition will it mess up with my vista partition and basically creating a new partition inside my vista partition?
