Hi,
I'm using xubuntu 7.10, so I'm still using the 2.6.22-14 kernel. How can I use a newer kernel version? Are there any problems with it?
And before you ask why I'm not upgrading to hardy, that's easy to answer: unfortunately hardy has a very poor performance on my dell xps m1530 notebook and from what I've heard a lot of other m1530 users have the same problems, that's why I'm sticking to 7.10.
Greetings Gordon
