Adept Updater appears to be stuck

The Adept Updater looks like it may be stuck on configuring linux-image-2.6.24-18 generic... Is there anything I can do to help it along? This is part of a 54 update/5 install that loaded today. Downloaded OK, it just not going any place for at least 1.5-2 hours now. Help!! :confused:

Same problem here under same circumstances. I have an AMD64 dual core. I have installed all the other updates OK, but the new linux-image gets stuck for hours at 48% while configuring.
Any help would be welcome.

I have had the same problem recently with a CTL 2gopc. 900 MHz Celeron, 512 MB. Seems to have started some time last week. Will not install anything out of Adept anymore. Just hangs up and sits there with it's spinning gear cursor. All other functions seem to remain usable.
