Hello,
This is my first post to the forum, thought I'd try to resurrect it as it seems out of use lately. My question is regarding the WPA supplicant configuration in Hardy, and how to get my static wpa wireless connection password to stick. I've tried changing the password for the router in the network manager applet, only to have it reset to what seems like a system generated password every time I re-open it. I'm using tkip if that's of any consequence. I've also tried editing the /etc/network/interfaces file to have the correct password or psk, but it doesn't seem to change what nm-applet displays. The only way to get my connection to work is to change the password in nm-applet and unplug/ replug my wireless card while it's still open. I looked through the readme's in the wpasupplicant folder but I'm still pretty confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Buzz
