I'm trying to switch over to emacs for my mail client, but I've run into a problem. I'd like have emacs auto fetch mail (i.e. auto type 'rmail-get-new-main') automatically every 10 minutes or so and give me a "new mail" in the status bar (or minibar if need be). Ideally it would just be a line in the .emacs file like (setq autofetch '(10)) or something of that nature. If another popular emacs mail client does this, I will be willing to switch too it.
