Hi there,
I was wondering, wasn't it possible (maybe still is) to install a mere console system with the Xubuntu alternate cd?
I like (X)ubuntu, what I don't like is the bloat, I know I had a system where I just installed an Ubuntu console system, and after that, I installed all packages I wanted (Xorg, Gnome etc.) by hand.
I am pretty sure it just jumped into my eye on the 7.10 boot screen, but now (8.04) I can't find such a menu entry, neither on the livecd nor on the alternate, does it only work with the Ubuntu alternate cd?
Can someone help me out?
