how can i protect the contented files in a folder from other users of my pc?

i would like that the password dialog appears when they try to open the folder... (excuse me for killing the English language!)

You can use this command to protect any directory you own from being viewed or accessed by anyone else.


chmod 700 directory

However, this won't bring up a password dialogue when other users try to access the directory. It will simply say "Permission denied".
